We’re a small, non-commercial project about corner urinals. We collect as little personal data as we can. Here’s exactly what happens to it.

What we collect and why
Newsletter and waitlist. When you sign up, we collect your email address so we can send you new Eckes and project updates. We use double opt-in: you’ll get a confirmation email and are only added once you confirm. We also see whether you open our emails and click links, so we know what’s working. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it anytime via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
Emails you send us. If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the conversation once it’s no longer needed.
Visiting the website. When you visit pissoirecke.com, our host automatically processes technical data like your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure. We also use Framer’s built-in analytics, which doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you. Visitor IP addresses are hashed and the hashing key is deleted daily. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We don’t use advertising, tracking cookies, or social media pixels. No algorithms. No ads. Nur Ecken.
Who else handles your data
Framer B.V. (Amsterdam, Netherlands) hosts our website on Amazon Web Services.
Loops (Astrodon Corporation) sends our newsletter and stores subscriber emails. Its data is processed in the United States.
Hover (Tucows Inc., Canada) handles our domain and forwards our email.
Google (Gmail) hosts our email inbox.
Some of these providers process data outside the EU, in the US and Canada. These transfers are covered by an EU adequacy decision (Canada; US companies certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or by the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We never sell or share your data with anyone else.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
show you what data we have about you (Art. 15)
correct it (Art. 16)
delete it (Art. 17)
restrict how we use it (Art. 18)
give you a copy in a portable format (Art. 20)
You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 21) and withdraw your consent anytime. Just email hallo@pissoirecke.com.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Ours is:

Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
